Devonalds are delighted to announce that specialist local consumer law expert Barbara Davies has joined the firm.

Barbara will be well known to many local people, having headed up the specialist consumer law team within the Trading Standards Department of Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council.

Sadly, as a result of cutbacks, the consumer law department within the local authority has been closed down after 45 years. The service won several excellence awards and resulted in over 800 cases a year being successfully resolved on behalf of local residents.

Barbara wanted to continue to provide this outstanding consumer law advice to the people of the Rhondda Valley. We are delighted that as a firm that we can now work with Barbara to ensure that access to justice remains available. This service will provide you, the consumer, with advice on all aspects of sale and supply, from building work to car purchases, faulty goods to sub-standard service.

Drop-in clinics now run at our Tonypandy office in Dunraven Street EVERY Wednesday.
