Re-Launch of the Devonalds & Barnardo's FREE WILL SCHEME!

We’re delighted to officially announce the re-launch of our partnership with Barnardo’s. Under the scheme, if you or your partner are aged over 55, then you can have a standard Will or pair of Wills made completely free of charge.
How does the scheme work?
Barnardo’s will pay us a specially agreed fee for the Will (£70+VAT for a standard single Will and £120+VAT for a standard pair of Wills), and all that they ask in return is that you consider leaving them a gift in the Will. You will be under no obligation to leave a gift, and if do wish to leave a gift it can be for any amount. Any gift you do choose to include will only be payable on your death.
If, after discussing your wishes, it is clear that your Will is not ‘standard’, then we will let you know the additional cost and you will need to pay the difference.
Why do Barnardo’s pay for the Will?
Nearly half the money donated by people who support them comes from gifts in Wills. These gifts play an essential role in helping them continue to transform the lives of the UK’s most vulnerable children.
We’re completely independent from Barnardo’s, so you will receive expert impartial advice and will not be put under any pressure to include a gift in your Will.
One of our friendly South Wales solicitors will chat with you about your situation and personal wishes before giving you expert advice about your Will. At Devonalds, we’ll ask the right questions and offer the right solutions, whatever your circumstances. We will then quickly draft a professional Will that reflects your wishes and protects your loved ones. Once signed, we can safely store the Will for you free of charge, and provide you with a copy.
Everybody needs a Will, but it is estimated that one in three people die without making a Will. You may have put off making a Will for a variety reasons. Some find the process too daunting, or are worried about the costs involved. With Devonalds, making a Will is quick, stress free and simple, and now thanks to Barnardo’s it won’t cost you a penny, so don’t put it off any longer!
